I have not included my sysinfo because my question is general, unrelated to my current computer.
In choosing a new computer, I am asked to decide if I wish a discrete graphics card or integrated motherboard circuitry. To make this decision, I would like to understand the relationship among the factors that would, I think, determine the sharpness of the display I would view. They are, I believe: 1. the throughput of my ISP (download speed of 1 Mbit/sec); 2. the stated resolution of the graphics hardware (e.g. 1280 x 800); 3. the choice of the web-site's video (e.g. 360p); 4. other factors.
I am an engineer and have some understanding of technical terms, so feel free to use them as necessary.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
