Make:Gateway

Model:FX6831-01

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64 Bit)

Processor: i7

RAM:16GB

HDD: 1 TB (The Old one that I just replaced was 1.5 TB)

Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 5850

First time posting, the forums are great for help on problem machines at the shop. Anyway, I just replaced my HDD since the old one failed DFT and HDDregen. Then I backed up the Users folder on an alternative computer. Reinstalled windows, installed all of the Drivers that were necessary, setup avast as my anti-virus, put on Firefox, Updated, browsed around some and it worked fine for a couple of days, no errors on restarts, BSOD, or anything abnormal. I run DFT and Memtest, both pass with out an issue Then I took it home from the shop, plugged up everything and powered it on.

Once Into Windows :

Not all of my Desktop icons have loaded yet, and I click the Start button, it turns the mouse into hte rotating circle for loading, and keeps going for a couple minutes while Windows is unresponsive.
I get a "runonce.exe" error, the codes within where 0x000000007777AF3D in reference memory to 0x000000001D37B00C and ended with 0x0000185 (Sorry I should of took a picture)

Since Windows is nonresponsive besides, closing the error message. I turn it off and then reboot. This time it gets into windows and all the Desktop icons are correct, then it repeats the same behavior except the error message is about "Werfault.exe" then it goes to BSOD. At this point, I am hectic cause it has worked perfectly fine for like a week at work, and cant even boot right 1 time.

The BSOD code "STOP: 0x0000007E" so I turn it off, then unplug and remove the side panel. Since Im a fairly knowledgeable tech, I think Oh probably just the RAM needs reseating. I unplugged the Mouse/Keyboard before the next reboot. I proceed to reseat the 4 sticks of 4GB RAM. Turn it back on, and once into windows it gets an error message like the others but this time "explorer.exe" then BSOD again, same code.

I remove 2 sticks of RAM and boot to Safe Mode with Command Prompt, no BSOD happens so I run chkdsk, and it flies through Stage 1 and 60% of Stage 2, then it stops on 61% for 10 minutes, I get an error and take a picture, then 62% takes a while also and has an error. Since I know this may take hours I leave it alone for 2 hours, I come back and see it is at 66% and chkdsk has stopped there and says the indexed files verification is complete but chkdsk cannot continue in Read Only mode.

I have already put hours into researching this but no luck.

I REALLY need some ideas on possible solutions, to avoid having to Wipe-N-Reload.

PS Thanks for all you guys hard work on these forums, since this is my first time posting I hope that this is as helpful for me as all the other posts I have read when needing help!!:up::up:
