i jus reinstalled win7 64 home.in my pld machine. before i reinstalled i had a photo editing program "photo express 2000" from 1999 which worked just fine. after the reinstall it will not install. the installer [demo{?} install] will appear for maybe 5 seconds then goes away and the cd drive will spin down to idle. i have tried all different "compatibility modes, turned UAC off, shut off the antivrius .
i KNOW its old software, but it "fits" my needs and i "know" it. i'd love to hear if anyone knows a way to get this installed.. thanks, in advance. tom [i am not on that machine so sys info is missing] it is a custom built 4years old, i7 12 gb ram 3 channel on an x58 sli board, with 1 4850 radeon.]
