Diagnosing Random Freezes

Okay, so I bought this computer about 2 months ago, and so far, 3 different problems, I'm super unlucky.

Anyways, my PC has been giving me random freezes for about a month now, at first it was few and far between so I didn't care (every computer freezes once in a while), but then about 2 weeks ago it got really bad. So I ran MemTest86 and it showed nothing, I ran Windows Memory Diagnostics, and no matter what Ram stick was used, even if it was a spare RAM stick, the test would always freeze at the 8th run through at 76% in (so I attributed that to bad software), I've reinstalled Windows, reinstalled a different version of Windows, did SEATOOLS tests on my Hard drives and nothing.

The problems were happening as often as once a day, but when I set the BIOS defaults (which set my 1600MHz RAM to 1333MHz, the freezes stopped for 3 days), but after setting it back to 1600MHz, it froze the next day. I then bumped up the voltage (At the request of the manufacturer) of the RAM to 1.6V, and it seemed fine and dandy, no freezes for a full 7 days, but then it happened again.

Now, it has frozen 4 times in the past 3 days. However, each of these freezes seem to follow a pattern unlike the others. The first time, I was browsing the internet, and it froze, upon restarting, the computer froze again 5 minutes later. The second time, it froze while I was browsing the internet again, and upon restart, it froze again within 5 minutes. The freezes don't appear to occur during intensive activities (such as gaming) but only when I'm either AFK, or doing something simple like browsing reddit.

Here's another clue that may be of help, I ran ASUS PC Diagnostics, and it claimed that my Solid State that my OS is on failed many of the tests, but after I ran SEATools, it didn't show anything wrong.

Here are my specs

Intel Core i5-3570
ASUS P8Z77-V LX
nVidia GTX 660 EVGA Superclocked
Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz 8GB
Sandisk Ultra Plus 128GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM HDD 1TB
Corsair CX500M PSU
Windows 8 and 7, tried both

Now, if it can be of help, the first issue I had with this PC was faulty RAM, basically, I updated the BIOS and it reset some of the manufacturer settings on the RAM (Which apparently were set to get this RAM to work properly), and during this time, I reset the CMOS like 8 times because whenever I would, it would solve the problem temporarily.

The second issue was a faulty PSU that after my computer shut off and showed "Power Surges Were Detected" I RMA'd instantly. This second issue happened while after the freezes had started.
