Hey all,
My current browser of 'choice' is Firefox. Thing is, Mozilla has gotten overzealous with auto-updating its code to the point where I'm forced to run v. 22.0, a release that's none too memory conservative, requiring about 100 MB of system RAM on my ol' PIII with 256 MB.
Naturally, it's wise to run older versions of FF on an older machine, and I have, that is until Mozilla auto-updates them. There are some workarounds to the problem online, yet nothing that's consistently worked for me.
Since FF is a solid browser I'm not looking for a permanent replacement; rather, for the interim until I upgrade, I desire a smaller more efficient browser with must-have .mht support. The .mht plugin, unmht, FF uses is peerless. What are my options?
