I'm trying to update my ASUS bios, while I don't know what version it's on I just want to make sure it's on the most recent version from this site:

So I downloaded it and it was just a zipped .rom file. I looked it up on google and how to use it to update and I started getting results for asus update utility, people saying use it, others saying don't use it, some saying you have to 'flash' it? What does that mean? Others saying you need to use a floppy, but I don't have a floppy drive and they don't really explain what to do with it.
The ASUS website has no mention of any of this stuff. Only download links, not what to do with them.
I thought this would be a bit easier than it is I guess. Can anyone please help me?
