OK,
Here is my problem and hoepfully it is something small that i am overlooking.
I have a spreadsheet with a set of dates in a column and beside the date, a number(quantity on hand) and beside the number, a column of cells conditionally formatted.
These conditionally formatted cells are done so to color the cell red or green(to verify an action being performed)
so, I formatted it to turn green if the quantity is above 0(since if they checked quantity then, the related action was performed and red if the cell<=0.
This works fine but when I compile the report from all 13 people, I have to paste their dates and quantities into an array that gives me the most recent date and quantity so that I can have 13 sets of these dates and it create the compiled list which, I special paste back over using only the values(as to not carry the formual used to get the recent date and quantity from the array) This also works fine...
But when i do paste it, the conditional format no longer recognizes the empty cells as empty and so it fills them all in the green (it should remain red until the quantity has been checked) so if a line has no information it returns "" and this is not recognized by the conditional format.
I am going to just change the method in which the verification is performed but I am still very curious as to why this is happening.
