I'm trying to backup my laptop's internal SSD and two portable WD HDDs onto an external WD HDD. My backups keep failing, and when I check "Computer" at least one of the hard drives has disappeared. I have to disconnect them and reconnect them to get the HDD to show up again. The USB 3.0 item in Device Manager even displayed an error one of them times and I had to uninstall the driver and restart to get it to reinstall. I also went into the power settings and turned off hard drive sleeping and usb device idling.
