isass.exe - System Error

Geez, get one computer straight, then got another one with a problem! :mad: :mad: :mad:

isass.exe - System Error - An invalid parameter was passed to a Service or function......

Okay, everything I am reading online is saying I need to use the original disc to boot up, which I don't have. All I have is the Operating System CD (Microsoft Windows XP Professional SErvice Pack 2) and the HP Restore Plus CD.

So my question is this? Is the computer dead?

Is there anything I can do to get this computer back up?

It runs Windows XP Professional. It was originally a work computer that was sold to me by the company. I don't have the original CD's that came with it.

I'm gonna keep looking. I may even call and see if I can get the original CD since I did buy the PC.

But any help you can give would be appreciated.

By the way, I can't get anything except the little box that says isass.exe - System Error An invalid parameter was passed to a service or function. Everytime I click OK, it reboots.
