xp in a win 7 laptop

I replaced the hardrive in my acer aspire 5349 it went bad all at once it had win 7 in it but didn't have disk for this so put

win xp home in it and I have lost the ethernet and network controllers and the wireless modem will not work either

prob because of the controllers is there any way to get this up and running short of buying a complete win 7 set of disk
