ITunes issue

I tried getting to ITunes from my desktop and nothing happened. I then tried opening it from my start menu. Nothing happened. I then deleted the program and tried to download from the ITunes site (Apple) and it couldn't execute the download.

Does anyone have an idea as to how I can download this program? Am using Vista Home Premium and have sufficient memory to accomodate ITunes.
