can't open Internet Explorer

I have been having problems either opening Internet Explorer or when it does open, it suddenly stops. At the moment I can't get into it at all and the arrows in the top left of the screen are greyed out. I have installed Malwarebytes and have run a scan - found 6 problems and fixed them (I hope) but I still can't get into IE.

Can anyone help?
