Put Laptop Back Together; Now Touchpad Doesn't Work

I just replaced the hard drive in my dad's Dell Inspiron N5050. I put the laptop back together, and now the touchpad doesn't work. I tried plugging the cable in multiple ways, but I can't get it to work. I've attached photos. What am I doing wrong?
