After many years I have finally stopped using Incredimail which I felt had become overloaded, clunky and a bit dated. I tried Thunderbird but couldn't make it receive mail. I also discovered that with my mail accounts (BTInternet) there was no encryption meaning other people could read any mail I sent. So I dumped that and tried Live Mail. Now, this is fairly user friendly if you're used to Word as I am but there are a few disappointments.
1. Automatic spelling correction doesn't work properly if at all.
2. The first letter of each sentence isn't capitalised, neither is the word i. After being used to IM doing this it will take a little time to adjust.
3. I like a global inbox which will receive all my mail rather than separating it out to each of my accounts. I don't see the point of seeing the same listings under each of my account heading. It's perfectly easy to see which address the mail is sent to in a global box when the mail is open.
There may be a few other disappointments but overall WLM isn't bad. So if someone can help with the three things listed above I shall be very happy.
