I'm on Windows XP and IE. When my computer got set up for what ever reason it didn't get wifi protection. I decided to go into network set up and try to correct this problem. In the network set up I feel so stupid about this, I didn't know anything about PC's at this time, I was thinking network was being able to connect to the internet not network as far as connecting to other computers. I ended up setting up a "network" and now the computer thinks I'm one of several computers. When I shut down it asks for my password to start up again. This really freaked me out because I don't have a password. I found a way around it by clicking on option and the password key, How can I get my computer back to knowing it's on it's own? Thanks!!
