I have a laptop with Windows Vista Home edition. Today it would not boot up at all. I got a message to the effect that xmllite.dll was not working. I tried starting in Safe Mode and got the same message. I tried a Startup Repair and got the same message. I tried a System Restore and got the same message. I can get to System Recovery Options using F8. Is there any "cure" short of doing a clean reinstall of Windows Vista?
