Hello!
I'm about to buy a SSD to use as boot drive, and just like many not very tech-savvy people, I have a bunch of questions to ask the pros before going out and buying it:
1- Could you guys please recommend me a solid SSD (64-128Gb) that won't die on me? (My system specs are in my profile) Some basic research has me all worked up on reliability. Oh, and I'll likely be buying it off Newegg.ca.
2- What kind of programs should be put into the SSD, if any? Internet browser? MSE? MS Office? Java? Skype? Video games? Programs that get launched on Startup?
3- What should I be aware of? I already know never to defrag but there could be some other Windows-related stuff that I'm not aware of. Folders from the Windows installation that should be moved to the HDD, for instance?
4- Do I need any more accessories (cables etc) to go with it?
5- How do I go about installing Windows? Format + install with CD? Should I unplug the HDD with the current OS before doing it?
Thank you much in advance for your help and patience!! :)
