Train Simulator 2013 (Railworks 3)

Hello all! I have noticed that in Train Simulator 2013 (some call it RailWorks 3) that when I have TSX mode disabled, all tracks look completely washed out, but I am able to play @ full resolution with medium-high settings (low shadows/view distance, everything else high). They are simply too bright. When I have TSX mode enabled, though, the tracks look fine, but my framerate goes down the drain, into around 14 FPS. I did some googling, and all I could find was somebody talking about a texture pack they made, and how some people with older graphics cards have the exact opposite: too dark. I am running a HP Pavilion 15 e-043cl, which has a AMD A6 APU with Radeon HD 8450G graphics that has 768 MB of graphics memory (if you could also tell me if this is an integrated or dedicated card I would be really thankful). The laptop also has 6 gigabytes of RAM. Full resolution is 1366x768. I would really appreciate it if you could help. Thank you!!
