I'm not sure where to put this request, but as it concerns e-mail and devices I'll start here.
I have a desktop with 3 e-mail accounts on and I use Live mail 2011. I also have a Samsung Android phone on which I've used several mail apps all with the same result.
Whichever device is first to receive the e-mail (from whatever source) seems to remove it from the server. For example if I send myself an e-mail from one account to another, it only seems to arrive at the first device (I.E phone or computer) to "sync" the receiving account, and NEVER seems to be received by other devices, even when they are manually instructed to receive mail.
All e-mail clients are set so that they do NOT delete mail from the server when they download it. Live Mail set to leave a copy on the server (the only applicable option I can find) and the phone browsers have all been set to never delete from the server.
To me this seems to be exactly the opposite of the behaviour I should expect, and makes having several devices with the same accounts kinda pointless. I've run out of things to try. Any ideas?
