DCL CD display monitor died.

For a long time it became increasingly difficult for my DCL CD display monitor to fire up. Similar to the way a florescent light fires, it would repeatedly "fire" and die. Eventually it would come to life but now it does not. Are there any suspect components which can be changed such as a capacitor?
